Performance in the schoolyard or auditorium
Students play for the school community and their families. No special equipment needed — a microphone and willingness are enough.
In 2025, 256 municipal schools in São Paulo took part. In Maringá, 117 units. In Pindamonhangaba, 25. Make Music Day is now an educational tool adopted by municipal secretariats across Brazil.
10 pages with 20 ready-to-use activities across three complexity levels: from a sing-along circle in the schoolyard to connections with parents and community artists. The music already inside your classroom is already a stage.
The celebration is valid on any day of the week. Schools can hold their activities on Friday, June 19th, or on any nearby day. São Paulo held its edition on a Wednesday in 2025. Ponta Grossa has a municipal law that expressly allows this flexibility.
There is no single format. Each school adapts its participation to its own context, space and community.

The school opens its doors to the community. Teachers and students share the basics of an instrument in a light, participatory way.
A collective performance that strengthens belonging and brings together different classes and age groups.
A live performance on Instagram or YouTube connects the school to the community beyond its walls — and leaves a permanent record.
From schools to APAEs, from Minas Gerais to Paraná — music as a tool for integration, expression and development.
"Listening to or reading the moving accounts of elementary school teachers, of APAE directors and so many others who took part, we felt those vibrations in our hearts. That is priceless!"
